Near the start of the night, as the first results started coming in, President Trump wrote on his Truth Social page, claiming Fox News ratings were down because “they’re spending too much time covering the Trump Deranged Dumocrats! “
He said: “All of those people who used to watch Fox, and no longer do, get it. It’s them, not me. My numbers are better than they have ever been.
“[Fox News ratings] are way down, not because of me, but because they are AGAINST me! This happened once before, and Fox almost collapsed. It’s happening again!”
In a swipe at Mr de Blasio, who was mayor of New York from 2014 to 2021, President Trump said the Democrat “left the City in disgrace, and the damage he caused was incalculable.
“It has never been the same, and now he’s telling us how to run America. Fox News bears responsibility for these losses by constantly and consistently putting on the Dumocrat opposition, and worse.”
