Three flights to Bulgaria, including one from London Stansted, three to Italy, and four to Prague, with one each to Brussels and Vienna, have all been grounded or diverted after threats of explosive devices were received.

The London Ryanair flight was diverted to a remote area of Plovdiv Airport for inspection as emergency services rushed to the scene. Passengers were transported to Sofia by bus, according to Bulgarian outlet Nova.
