Police were left shocked in the Costa del Sol after discovering a grim torture chamber inside an unassuming home.
Officers arrived at a house in Estepona on September 5 after a woman warned authorities her partner may be in danger.
As police rang the doorbell, they saw a light coming from inside the home, before witnessing something described as being “straight out of a Quentin Tarantino film”.
A source familiar with the investigation told Spanish outlet El Espanol: “A naked man ran out through the kitchen door of the house, with blood on his face and in a state of panic, shouting, ‘They’ve kidnapped me and they’re going to kill me!’”
A police source described the “torture chamber” they found as they explored the property.
“They found a room covered in plastic sheeting on the walls, with a hammer, remnants of duct tape, and two firearms lying on the floor in plain sight,” he said.
Images show rooms covered in plastic and a solitary chair in the room.
The woman who rang the police had told them her partner, a Moroccan national, had gone to the property and been told to contact authorities if he did not return.

“My partner has gone to a house to handle some shady business and told me that if he didn’t contact me within 10 minutes, I should call the police,” she said.
Officers quickly realised the severity of the situation and radioed for backup – all available patrol cars in Estepona and nearby Marbella were called to the scene.
Another man, a Spanish national, was found tied to a chair and covered in blood.
One of the assailants, who was wearing a face covering, attempted to flee the house as police arrived, jumping over a garden wall.

But the suspect was caught when an another police car arrived at the property.
During the raid, officers seized two AK-47 assault rifles.
Cable ties, pliers and several pistols, including one with a silencer, were also found in a room.
A total of seven men, all Serbian, were arrested in connection to the property, with some previously having criminal records for drug trafficking and extortion, according to El Espanol.

None of the men, ranging in age from 24 to 35-year-old, had known addresses.
Spanish authorities described the operation as a “gang involved in trafficking cocaine and hashish, whose activities also include other crimes such as extortion”.
And the Provincial Brigade of Judicial Police of Malaga said: “The activity of this organisation of professional criminals had a presence on the Costa del Sol, in the Campo de Gibraltar and in the Levante area.”
Authorities are now considering contacting Interpol to help track down other members of the gang.
