Flight data on tracking site FlightRadar did not show any deviation of the flight’s normal route and it is not believed the aircraft put out a squawk – a signal used by flights during an emergency.

However, the data does show the flight landing approximately an hour early.

All passengers were safely removed from the aircraft before security staff conducted a thorough search.

“The incident has ended with no unusual findings. Operations have returned to normal,” the Airports Authority said.
