Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have already landed a new documentary following their return to the UK last month, premiering on Disney+ and Hulu in the US today.
Titled Harry & Meghan: The Return of the Prince, the one-off special serves as the season five premiere of the Impact x Nightline series.
The programme examines the couple’s unexpected decision to relocate back to Britain, more than six years after they stepped down from official royal duties and upped sticks to the United States.
Neither Harry nor Meghan is believed to have participated in the production, which will instead talk to royal commentators, reporters and experts.
The pair have reportedly settled in the Cotswolds, though they have said nothing publicly about their plans going forward.
They do, however, continue to operate Archewell Productions, their film production company that holds a deal with Netflix.
The documentary draws on insights from royal specialists to dissect the Sussexes’ public rift with the Royal Family, and what their homecoming could mean for the monarchy.
Looming large over the narrative is the forthcoming 30th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death.
The programme overview poses a pointed question: “Will the tension within Palace walls give way to a royal reconciliation, or will the divide between the rival courts only grow wider?”

Adding another layer of intrigue, reports have emerged in recent weeks suggesting Harry is keen to produce a documentary about his late mother ahead of that milestone.
Whether any such project has progressed beyond the planning stage remains unclear.
Any Diana-related venture would require considerable caution from the prince, not least given the legal controversy already engulfing his uncle, Earl Spencer.
The Earl’s memoir has already come under fire due to its shocking allegations about then-Prince Charles throughout his relationship with Diana, and in the aftermath of her tragic death.

It is claimed in the book the future King sounded “giddily elated – like a lottery winner” during a phone call with the Earl and also said that Diana would be forgotten “soon enough”.
Despite resulting in a carefully worded response from Buckingham Palace – in which it warned the “pain of fraternal grief can cloud reason, affect judgment and colour memory” – it is former Daily Mirror editor Piers Morgan who has caused the Earl his biggest headache post-publication.
In an explosive monologue on Monday, the broadcaster revealed the Earl accused him of publishing pictures of Princess Diana in a gym leotard, taken from a hidden gym camera.
However, Mr Morgan did not begin employment at the Daily Mirror until October 1995, almost two years after the images appeared in the Sunday Mirror on November 7, 1993.
An infuriated Mr Morgan blasted the book for its “fabricated inaccuracies which will strike to the heart of his credibility,” adding: “I come across in the most despicable manner imaginable.”

PAThe Times then revealed earlier this week the Earl has agreed to edit future editions of the book to rectify the error, which he called an “incorrect assumption”.
Meanwhile, considerable speculation has swirled around whether the duchess might make a return to acting.
Earlier this month, suggestions surfaced that Meghan was in discussions to appear in the third series of Netflix series The Gentlemen, prompting a notable backlash.
The show’s stars were quick to pour cold water on the idea. Theo James told the BBC: “It’s fascinating to watch, but ultimately it’s a lot of rumour.”
Vinnie Jones was rather more forthright in his dismissal. Speaking to The Sun, he said: “Well, I haven’t seen her on the cast list. I think that’s dead and buried. We can honestly say now that it ain’t happening, and you’d be a bit of a knob to think the idea was still alive.”
The duchess is still expected to run her lifestyle brand As Ever from Britain, where she could still film promotional content.
