A naked Donald Trump statue, named “The Orange Plague”, has been unveiled outside the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
The imposing eight-foot art piece shows the US President entirely naked, sitting atop a much smaller man.
Designed by Danish sculptor Jens Galschiøt, the statue is completely covered in 23-karat gold leaf.
Mr Trump can be seen brandishing a golf club and a world-shaped ball in one hand as well as a set of scales in the other.
Inscribed below, a caption reads: “The King of Injustice”.
It adds: “I am sitting on the back of a man. He is sinking under my burden. I will do anything to help him. Except stepping down from his back.”
The artist described the controversial piece as merely a “satirical outcry” against American foreign policy.
In a statement, he said: “Trump represents one of the greatest threats to the rule-based world order, democratic values, and our common effort to solving the climate crisis.”

Danish MEP Per Clausen heaped praise onto the statue, saying: “If someone is so thin-skinned that they cannot tolerate this sculpture being exhibited in the European Parliament, then they have no place on the world stage.”
