Today, Ms Markson continued: “It was just the vision went around the world because it was these two gunmen dressed in black, opening fire into this really happy celebration, into innocent families.
“The terror and the vision of just thousands of people fleeing Bondi and the massacre at Archer Park at Bondi.
“The bodies on the ground, the bloodshed. It was beyond horrific. It was a slaughter. It truthfully has changed Australia forever. Life won’t be the same again.”
Australia’s Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese, announced a Royal Commission to investigate the Bondi Beach terrorist attack.
Mr Albanese confirmed the inquiry back in January, establishing what represents Australia’s most authoritative form of public probe.
