Argyle Street is shut between Wellington Street and Four Corners, as police officers and paramedics attended the scene.
The road has been closed after a man had “collapsed” in the area, police shared in an update.
Emergency crews are currently dealing with the incident. Due to it, drivers are being urged to “avoid the area”.
A police statement said: “Argyle Street in Glasgow is closed between Wellington Street and Four Corners after police received a report a man had collapsed.
“Emergency services are in attendance. Motorists are advised to avoid the area.”
