
“It’s pretty good… We weren’t expecting the armed guard as we walked in, but yeah, it felt a bit safer,” Mr Hall quipped.
The newlyweds hilariously revealed they did not know the Prime Minister would be hosting a foreign head of state at their wedding venue.
“We weren’t aware of them coming, but yeah, it was a bit of a surprise.“But it all went well. All went seamlessly. They looked after us in there,” Michael said.
“Now we’re on the news. So yeah, it’s going well,” he added, to cheers from the guests.
The couple said they were happy to see Manchester “be more of a capital now” after Mr Burnham decided he would split duties between his office in Downing Street and his hometown up north when he became Prime Minister.
“Well, best of luck. Have a great day. Have a good party as well. And congratulations from all at GB News,” Christopher said to another cheer from the wedding party.
