Faten Hameed has joined her third political party since 2020.
She stood twice for Labour in Glasgow Central under Jeremy Corbyn’s leadership, before jumping ship to the Conservatives five years ago.
Thomas Kerr, a Reform councillor in Glasgow who defected from the Tories, told The National that Hameed had “been on a journey”.
Hameed was spotted at a glitzy dinner for Reform supporters held in Glasgow on Thursday night.

She was pictured sitting alongside Kerr, Reform deputy leader Richard Tice, newly defected MSP Graham Simpson, and Stephen Montgomery, the director and spokesperson of the Scottish Hospitality Group.
Kerr said Montgomery was there in his role as a prominent businessman and is not a party member.

Hameed ran for Glasgow Central for Labour in 2017 and 2019, losing twice to the SNP‘s Alison Thewliss. At her first attempt, Hameed came just over 2267 votes behind the winner.
After joining the Scottish Conservatives, she contested three local elections for the party, including a by-election in October last year.
Kerr (above), who described himself as a good friend of Hameed, said she would be a “massive asset” to the party but said she had no plans to stand as a candidate.
Asked about the potential criticism she may face for her frequent party switching, he added: “Anybody who says that somebody has joined Reform for a career is not being serious.
“A year ago, Reform was polling at 1% or 2%, now we’re doing very well, but that can very much change quickly.
“I think Faten’s views have evolved, the same way that a vast majority of people in Scotland have.”
